Here is a short article that I found very interesting. It is written in the context of the church/business, but consider it in the context of your life. What is the vision of your life? Do the people in your life know what that vision is? How are you communicating that vision today? Click the "Read More" tab and enjoy this article by Jeff Henderson.

As I watched my son, my firstborn child, walk down the aisle to receive his High School diploma, I began to ask myself, "how did I get here?" I was just walking that aisle myself what seems like only a few years ago. I can remember the rehearsal, the heat of the sun at Booster Stadium, my family, and the pictures. I can even remember eating at Ryan's Steakhouse after it was all over. It was a milestone for me just as last night was a milestone for my son. Then I began to think of other milestones since my graduation. My wedding, the birth of both of my children, new jobs and lost jobs. Each event closed one chapter and began a new one in the book of my life. My prayer for my son is that he finds the joy and happiness that I have found in the ones I love. I wish him success in his giftedness of music and fullfilment in his relationship with the Lord. I love you son, I am very proud of you. May God continue to lead and bless you.
What are some spiritual milestones in your life? Can you remember when you gave your life to the Lord? Your baptism? Can you remember the first person you led to the Lord. Has God used you for something significant since you have accepted Him as your Savior? If you can't answer these questions it may be becuase you have never received the free gift of salvation. If that is the case, please respond to this blog and give me the opportunity to share this wonderful gift with you. He loves you so much and He has a plan for your life. If you have already been saved, then what are you waiting for? Give your life away. Let the rest of your life be marked by spiritual milestones. Make a difference for the Kingdom of God.
Looking back, I can say that I am pleased with my life. Will the Father be able to say the same of you? Set goals, and celebrate each milestone. You will not regret it. May God bless you.

I have just begun a new study called, “A woman after Gods own heart”. WOW! That’s all I can say. It is amazing how God allows you to experience certain things at just the right time in your life! In the first chapter of this book it talks about living a life that is after a heart like our Fathers. How do we love Him deeply? How do we live for Christ daily? In Luke chapter 10:38-42 it tells us the story Jesus visiting the home of two sisters Mary and Martha for a meal. Can you imagine how elated Mary and Martha must have been?

What can you learn from a wasp? |

As I was studying at my home office this week, I noticed a wasp had flown into the room. My air conditioner was on the fritz so I had all the doors and windows open and the fans running. This wasp soon found an open window. I am sure it thought that this was an escape from this strange new world it had flown into but when it got to the window it was stopped short by the screen. JRS Ministry Blog is about building online relationships with people within an area of shared interest. The offline equivalent is the way we relate face-to-face with people we work or study with, or meet socially. We make friends with them and enjoy their company, rather than preaching at them. Online relationships can be deep and used by God. As they get to know us, they sense that we have things in our lives that they do not yet possess and they effectively give us permission to share. It’s that fragrance spoken of in 2 Cor 2:15. Writing that is from a Christian worldview, and from a heart that has been transformed by the Holy Spirit, should sound different!
